Mission Statement

The mission of the Tri-County Diabetes Alliance is to raise awareness and improve the health of people with diabetes and those at risk for developing diabetes by creating and sustaining an effort to inform, educate, and assist individuals to improve their health.

 

February:

 

February is Heart Month

Diabetes Self- Management Education: February 9th- March 16th, Snow Hill Health Department, Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30 pm. Free, 6 week diabetes education program sponsored by the Worcester County Health Department and taught by a Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian, and American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist. Tri County Go Red: Saturday February 5th 2011 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center Hallowell Conference Center 8am to 12noon, FREE health screenings, presentations, demonstrations, and ; for more information , please call the Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute 410-543-7028.
